Who is going to save the god-awful Lightheavyweight division?

Light Heavyweight has been one of the worst weight classes in boxing for a while now. I said it hit an all time low when Pascal became champion, and after last nights fight that is reaffirmed more than ever.

Pascal is pretty amateurish and fights by flurring and then running, and his stamina is awful. the fact that he was running from a 45-46 year old is pretty sad. And its not like Hopkins has still looked good consistantly in his old age...his last fights against Jones and Ornelas he looked worse than ever. heck, Ornelas probably won more rounds against Hopkins than Pascal did(albeit no knockdowns).
lets not forget Pascal is a supermiddleweight flunkie either.

so who else is there? we have 168lb flunkie Brahmer, old man Jones, ducker Erdie, and Cloud and Dawson have been subpar recently.

who can be a real champ that can actually make light heavyweight decent again? Dustin Dirks is probably the best young 175 fighter I know of, and Cleverly isnt half bad either.
    what do you think>

I think Dawson is a great fighter and will rule the LHW division after getting his head straight

I dont like judging a fighter by one fight, but after his performance against Pascal I really lost a lot of respect for his abilities.

he had the fight in his hands and could have easily won, I dont know what the hell he was doing.

It was all in his mind, something didnt click

Get past that and he will be great

The 11th round showed his skills but it shouldnt have taken 10 rounds to do that

But i still think he is the best

I think Froch will move up after the super six. Cleverly is good and Dawson is better than he looked against Pascal.

Save it from what exactly? Are they getting rid of the division if it does'nt pick up?
