Katsidis, KO’d by Marquez? Big Deal!!!! From the onset of the matchup, I knew this thing was made-to-order. Katsidis was KO’d by a lackluster retiring Casamayor. Katsidis was beaten by Diaz. And Diaz and Casamayor were both beaten by Marquez, so what do you think Marquez gained by beating Katsidis????? NOTHING!!! then he fought c class fighter in Diaz in a rematch who has 5 loses of his last 6 fights( destroyed by Campbell and toyed by Pau Malinaggi)….
BIG DEAL! Everybody thinks Marquez conquered a Goliath of a fighter. That’s a funny matter. Want to match Marquez with bigger men??? His first try was a total failure. Let him have his revenge against Chris John! Marquez is so quiet and tongue-tied when it comes to Chris John who beat him fair and square, un unknown from the island of Indonesia. Pacman vs Margarito….by beating a Goliath who has 17pounds weight advantage, 5inches height and 6inches reach advantage in dominating fashion deserved fighter of the year….WW vs super MW….WOW!!!phenomenal and great feat from Pacman….No one has ever done this before….Pacman opponent in Margarito has a good fighting credentials….KO Cintron, KO Sergio Martinez,KO Cotto, beat Santos,Clottey and etc…

Other candidates do not deserve the accolade for having an ordinary fight….
Marquez vs bum and loser Katsidis(KO by Casamayor and Beat by diaz – fight is insignificant),Juanma didn’t beat a natural featherweight,Froch and Kessler almost equally match in size, no handicap seen….

Casa KO katsidis, diaz beat Katsidis...Marquez both beat Casa and Diaz and still fought Katsidis...What Marquez gained fighting a bum, loser and one dimensional katsidis...NOTHING....Still Khan fought the most dangerous Maidana, a very good and highly respected Kotelnik and a good boxer in Malignaggi....

this is the time for Marquez to fight the fighters at higher weight who also want to fight the great Pacman....Like Bradley, devon, khan, maidana, berto and even Mosley....if he beats any of these guys convincingly then he's worthy challenger for the great Pacman...Fighting faded and shot Eric Morales will not doing him good.....Best of the best at higher weight are fighting each other to have a chance for a dream fight with Pacman...Marquez staying in 135 fighting non sense fight is not the right path...Marquez should be in the mix with JR WW and WW to be worthy challenger.....

if Pacman will fight Mosley then Marquez should fight Berto or Khan to make him worthy challenger for Pacman remaining fights....Going back at 135 and fighting faded and shot Morales on his next fight is not doing him good on his possible fight against Pacman...Why make a statement at JR WW and WW and get in the mix with Khan, Maidana, Devon, Bradley, Berto and even Mosley....
