jheez the stuff bernard can get away with-so basically the general consensus across this forum is he's excused for ducking dawson when he was at the top because he's hopkins? I thought he won however a draw wasn't surprising...pascal was the champ and hence deserved the nod in a few close rounds

I think at Hopkin's age nobody realistically expected him to dominate a division again. At his age, and all he's done in the sport, he's earned the right to cherry pick his opponent.

Hopkins has problems with guys his own size and is faster than him.

Just ask Calzaghe and Taylor.

Cut Hopkins a slack. He fought a guy years his junior at his hometown. Yeah Pascal is tailor-made for him but at least he took the challenge even though he failed.
