If you look at all the world's major problems, you'll find there's a Belgian involved somehow.
is that right? Philippine, Korean, Vietnam, Indochina, Latin American (proxy wars), Iraq, Afghanistan, American Indian wars, that's right these are all wars. Somehow a Belgian was involved in all these? I wonder which country to ever used WMD twice aptly named Little Boy and Fat Man? hhmmm.
I guess none of you had a problem with the Alexander vs Kotelnik decision..after all, the decision went to an american fighter ...
Go back and watch the Lebedev vs Huck fight where Lebedev had Huck on the run but lost the fight on the cards..
After all ..Hopkins didnt lose the fight, it was a draw..
I stopped reading this article after the writer said 114-112 Hopkins was on the button but the other 2 judges mucked up their scoring with 113-113 scorecards. That's a 1 point difference and there were a lot of close rounds that upon first viewing I couldn't split and even scored a couple of 10-10 rounds and even though I scored the fight 115-113 Hopkins, it wasn't a robbery especially considering Pascal didn't win the fight on any of the judges scorecards.
Wow, what does Michael Marley think, he is the god of boxing! 114-112 is the right score but 113-113 is a highway robbery? I had the fight 7-5 in rounds and with the two 'official' knockdowns, that is a draw people. Even if Pascal barely won those other three rounds, that is enough for a draw. Popkins did win his rounds bigger than Pascal won his rounds (except rounds 1 and 3) but that's the way fights are scored, round by round! When Pascal moved forward, he won the round, when Popkins moved forward, he won that round. Either way I could care less to see either fighter again, it was really boring for me...
Just because a fight has close scoring totals doesn't mean the fight itself had close rounds...it didn't
Aside from maybe the 9th, Pascal lost rounds 5-12 cleanly and clearly
So, if you are saying Pascal won rounds 1 thru 4 and round 9 with both the 1st and 3rd rounds two point rounds for the knockdowns, then the fight is a draw (113-113). Fights are scored round by round, not by how much you out land a guy. You just screwed yourself with your own points.
