yeah i know i couldn't believe when he said what would have happened if the fight wasn't in canada

ummm for one no one would have went to see it because as far as i remember bernard fought roy infront of about 50 people last go round and looked like ****

like we ain 't seen countless eastern europeans or other foreign fighters robbed when boxing some overhyped yank in the US who has some network hanging from his nutsack

the ****in nerve of the guy is incredible

the way he spoke to Pascal was **** out of order just because him and his yank network thought Bernard won the fight doesn't make it fact or give him the right to basically say to Pascal's face that he didn't deserve the win and that if it wasn't in Canada things would have been different

first off bhop was knocked down twice if he wins every other round which he didn't then we end up with 114-112 which is what one of the judges scored it anyway

it was in Pascal's hometown and he is the champ it's common knowledge as a challenger you to do more to win bhop needed at least a knockdown to make a case for a victory if you ask me

Marquez was knocked down three times against Pacquiao but earned a draw outboxing him for the rest of the fight pretty much the same thing happened here only difference is it's the American on the short end of the stick and being that Showtime are an American network they made a big thing out of it when it really wasn't

i have watched alot of boxing and that certainly wasn't the worst decision i have seen in fact i think they got it about right. there was no way that can be classed as a robbery imo

anybody else think he was out of line the way he spoke to Pascal?

Jim Gray was fantastic, brilliant, and most of all, PROFESSIONAL. His integrity and honesty are beyond reproach.

I want to thank Jim Gray for a job well done, and courage, in the face of ignorance and hatred in Canada.

I hope one day Canada can move past its stereotypes and racial biases and join the modern Western world. When that day comes, Jim Gray will have played a small but integral role.

if you want people to take you seriously when talking bout boxing it's kind of essential you are at least need to be able differentiate between jimlampley and larry merchant

well I stay up to 5am to watch these fights, I usually have the HBO commentary off.... they're all the same to me.

I made this point about Merchant last week, managed to realise who he was then though.

I'll remember to differentiate... Merchant hits fans and drunkenly slurs about absolute junk. Lapley gets told constantly by Ledderman.

Just because Jim Gray was speaking the truth doesnt make him unprofessional, I just watched the video of the fight and Im Mexican and I think the first knock down wasnt even a real knock down, the second was!Now Hopkins won every round from 4-12. Pascal sucks!! He was being walked down and dominated, Im not a big Hopkins fan i think he does fight kind of dirty sometimes but in this fight it was Pascal doing most of the holding!! Hopkins is the real Uncrowned light heavyweight champion!! Even if people from Canada wont admit it, Hopkins got robbed!!!!
