Seriously how unprofessional was Jim Gray last night

I agree, his "interview" with Pascal was out of line and seemed to be him trying to degrade Canada and Pascal.

Still don't think it's as bad as Lampley bringing up Katsidis' dead brother by asking him if he thinks his brother would of been proud of his performance. Double rub it in. That really crossed a line for me.

Didnt he say to Hopkins that he clearly won? lol, as a interviewer except in extreme circumstances you should not put your own personal view accross. He clearly seemed annoyed that Bhop didnt win, and was having a dig at Pascal for the first knockdown.

if you want people to take you seriously when talking bout boxing it's kind of essential you are at least need to be able differentiate between jimlampley and larry merchant

Ordinarily I am a big fan of Larry Merchant.

But I also felt his interview with Katsidis was bizarre. Merchant asked Katsidis if his dead brother would be proud of his loss. I found that question disrespectful and rude.

I dont think Merchant did it out of spite, in all honesty, Merchant is getting older and it probably slipped his mind.

I like Merchant but his interview with Katsidis was way out of line as well.
