So does this make Joe Calzaghe's win over Hopkins look even better?

Out of interest which boxers do you like? I have only seen you hate on boxers.
yes lots of people gave it to hopkins and lots gave it to calzaghe. if you want a more dynamic breakdown of the fight watch the videos so you can see who really deserved to win(hopkins) pretending like calzaghe won when the facts are readily available is just ignorant. he didn't win. whether you choose to ignore facts is up to you. it's not like both guys were landing and its personal preference as to which guys punches you like better. hopkins was outlanding him by a wide margin in the rounds he won. but he faked low blows so yea we all know how that's meaningful when it comes to scoring a fight.

i like almost any boxer that fights top competition. win or lose. i'd rather mayweather beat pac then the fight never happen at all. i'd rather calzaghe rob hopkins than the fight never happen at all. at least the fights happened instead of what ifs. what i don't care about is string along fights like berto's entire career or some of these pansy champions who are just making an easy living fighting bums.

Why did Calzaghe change his style to that? When he started boxing his was a concussive knock-out artist..

If it was as close as the Reid calzaghe fight was and all punchstats had it in favour of fighter I thought had lost then I would accept that if I'm honest as the fight was seriously close and that's why why have punchstats Is it not?? Some people don't get to see any fights and rely on punchstats

His hands were made of glass by the end of his career.

if you really want to judge a fight based on numbers go back and count it yourself. that's the only true way to ever know how many punches someone landed. some clown with parkinsons holding the calzaghe button down nonstop isn't an accurate depiction of what's really happening.

How low was it? It was a pretty hard left that hit him in stomach and forced him to hold. If it was a 'low blow' then Hopkins would have something to complain about.

So you only count shots that meet your approval? This is why these videos are a load of garbage because you are only giving your take on the fight. You should anlayse all the action objectively as it unfolds.

I'm not 'reaching for anything to discredit these videos.' I just see a lot of good work by Joe being ignored. Such as:

With 8 seconds remaining in RD 6 Calzaghe lands a straight left to Hopkins' face. Why is this not mentioned?

I can do this for several other rounds.

                      wow.

judges took those fights away from hopkins.
What about afro america being butt hurt about Adolph Hopkins the black fuhrer getting slapped like a hoe and loosing the mega fight against the whitey from wales??

I remember Hopkins getting dominated, yes he landed cleaner punches, that's why it's a SD, there was no real clear winner, Calzaghe landed more, Hopkins landed more accurate.
You can make a case for both.
Hopkins case is harder to defend in my opinion.
