all punches were shown. no bias. it's no highlight montage. it shows all the exchanges in slow mo and who got the better every time? hopkins. calzaghe's fast hands didn't hit the target. why is it biased just because hopkins is the one landing and calzaghe isn't? i would call that reality.

No damage done though. I can't give the fight to a guy who never once hurt his opponent and took clean counter shots to the chops. I don't like Calzaghe because I think he's an overrated twat. But even if I didn't have that opinion I could sit down and look at that fight and say Hopkins won it and it wasn't close. Even if he did fall over and make a big deal about low blows in that one round.

Calzaghe letting Hopkins go on and fight Pavlik when everybody wanted Joe to fight him says it all about Calzaghe's lack of confidence to fight an elite prime fighter after that fight.

all i have to do is prove hopkins won 6 rounds right? so go watch rounds 1-3,5, 6, and 10 in the videos i posted and count how many clean punches each guy landed in those rounds. hopkins wins in a landslide. even if calzaghe won all the other rounds(which he didn't) and outlanded hopkins throughout the fight(didn't) that would be irrelevant because hopkins won those rounds clearly.

It's a difference in style. Joe came to fight. He tends to smother his opponents with a high volume of punches, or even slaps. This high workrate was a problem for the older Hopkins. Pavlik likes to pick and place his shots, and Hopkins knew this, so he offset Kelly the whole night, to the point where he couldn't even get his shots off. Pascal came to run, like it was a track meet, and is lacking in boxing skill compared to Hopkins, so the old man was able to out box him. It's all style and perspective.
