Hopkins rejected a $3m offer which was the highest payday of his career at that point in 2001 to fight in America on Showtime. A further offer was made to him in 2003 which was again, rejected.

i thought the point of this thread was to prove how great calzaghe was because he "beat" hopkins. i didn't even start the thread. i'm just proving he didnt deserve to win that fight with actual evidence while everyone who thinks calzaghe won is left to studder like pascal "ba ba ba because he threw more!"

Calzaghe is far from being a popular fighter. When the vast majority of fans, the pundits etc say he won that gives you an indication.

opinion based on facts. the facts i use are hopkins clearly outlanding calzaghe in clean hard punches in at least 7 out of 12 rounds. you can't dispute this since i have video evidence of it. now what facts do you base your opinion on?
