He lost points for the knockdowns with 1 and 3 being scored 10-8, but 12 was even. Hopkins scored higher in the compubox stats in the rounds that he won, but the two knockdowns cost him the fight. I believe most people would agree that first third of the fight was pascal's and also the last round when pascal showed up again. Hopkins didn't do enough early in the fight and went down 3 times in my book.

    Pascal - 5 x 10 + 7 x 9 = 114 pts
    Hopkins - 8 x 10 + 2x9 + 2x8 = 114 pts

    DRAW!!!
exactly, but since were talking about a 45 yr old legend the close rounds were edged in his way as you see by the hostility everyone feels that is was a "ROBBERY".

          Dissapointed...

          I was there live,

I was dissapointed with Pascal, After the 3rd round I was thinking ok someone is finally going to beat up Hopkins and Knock him out.

but then either Pascal gazed out which is ridiculous, or he his trainer told him to play it safe.

It was a close fight not a robbery like alot of people are saying, Hopkins didn't school him with a masterful boxing performance it wasn't beautiful thing. For some crazy reason I can't understand he just outworked the guys who's 15 years younger. How can a 45 year old man have more gaz then a 27 year old, SMH

          Hopkins does deserve a rematch.

I saw both guys face to face after the fight Hopkins face had more damage, I was thinking Draw or slit decision Hopkins.

Pascal only wants the rematch for the money.

            - Felix Sturm got robbed against De La Hoya

Hopkins is an ex con who used to **** men in prison. Always fighting people he knows he can beat. A hypocrite of the highest level.
I agree with your point about bad juding everywhere, but you are off your rocker when it comes to assailing Bhop's career. The man's resume AFTER 40yrs old is more impressive than most other guy's entire career. Sure, he shamelessly ducked Dawson in his mid-40s, but who else has the man ever ducked?

I don't give a fuck, but that is downright ******ed.

I suggest Cliff watch that fight again with his glasses on.
It takes alot of class to disrespect the opinion of another. I truly wish some of you guys would grow up.
This was indeed a draw given two knockdowns, an aged warrior trying hard to push back time and an awkward champ who did little.
B-Hops work rate was more prolific but it was not a title fight that demanded the belt change hands.
Evander/Valuev! Now that was something to get angry about.

Compubox stats say B Hop won!

Look at those numbers! Two knockdowns or not, the numbers dont lie. B-hop clearly wooped that Ass.

Hopkins won a close, but clear decision for me. It was a very easy fight to score for the most part. Pascal just gassed after round 3, having expended a lot of energy giving Hopkins a beating. Hopkins weathered the storm, started timing Pascal right and exploited the lack of workrate coming from Pascal.

I wouldn't go as far as to call it a robbery, as it absolutely had to be close on the scorecards, but I felt Hopkins clearly won.
