It doesn't matter if Pac does or doesn't fight Mosley now he still ducked Shane when he WAS the man at 147. That's a fact.
People say Pac's in a lose lose situation? Well that's because of the way he's going about things. He picks and chooses certain fighters at certain weight classes at certain weights.Originally posted by bojangles1987 View PostNo he didn't. At all. He in no way ducked Shane Mosley. He fought Miguel Cotto, an infinitely easier fight to make because both were Top Rank. All the Mosley "I'll come in at 142" crap was said while Arum was making Pac-Cotto. After Pac-Cotto, Mosley had a fight against Berto. When the fight with Clottey was made, Mosley was scheduled to fight Berto. How was Pac supposed to know that Haiti would get a natural disaster and free up Mosley to fight instead of Clottey? And so, Floyd whooped Mosley and made him irrelevant.
So no, Pac did not duck Mosley at all.

If Pac sees that he'll get criticized for fighting Shane anyways he'll go for Marquez because it'll be an easier fight and he wants to settle the rivalry-- not to mention the enormous 150 million Mexican PPV market.

And, basically nothing will change from what you do everyday...So why make it seem like something will be different?
Do you get it?
Or, are you just slow?
I will continue until.....
* Manny names an opponent not-named Marquez, in which case it is possible that you may never see my "7 points" ever again
* Manny publicly states that he is not interested in fighting Marquez at any weight, in which case I will be disappointed, but it is likely that you may never see my "7 points" ever again
* Manny agree's to fight Marquez at 140, in which case you will almost certainly never see my "7 points" ever again
* And if Pacquiao demands 147 for Marquez, then I'm flaming that b1tch every day until he retires
And, you are fkn slow.

You can't have it both ways.
If Manny fights Marquez at 140, I will remove both points
Guys, I just found an honest Manny fan who knows about boxing.

They just want to disadvantage the 37yo midget as much as possible because Manny can't compete with the skills of Marquez. Manny will carry an extra 6-7lbs muscle over JMM at that weight, and they know it.
A lightweight vs junior welter is not good enough for Manny, it would have to be a lightweight vs welter before it was " fair "
So again, basically nothing will be different. But, yet you want to make it seem like it would be.
And, you're fucking slow.

People condemn Pac for fighting at cw YET he must go down to 140 for a JMM match just to satisfy the haters... Pac's 2 ko lost were at weight where he drained himself. I don't think Pac will make the same mistake again (weigh drain). JMM - PAC should be @147 and let them weight at their convenient weight (under 147 of course). no weight draining needed.

Although there was no announcement made on who will be Manny Pacquiao's next opponent during Pacquiao's birthday bash Friday night, personalities close to the pound for pound king, including Roach himself, have conceded that it would be against the Pomona, California native. “There were some minor kinks still being ironed out for that fight. The reason why it is still not being announced,” a source said who added that the 'minor kink' “was to the tune of $2 - $4 million dollars in Manny's favor.”
