They just want to disadvantage the 37yo midget as much as possible because Manny can't compete with the skills of Marquez. Manny will carry an extra 6-7lbs muscle over JMM at that weight, and they know it.

A lightweight vs junior welter is not good enough for Manny, it would have to be a lightweight vs welter before it was " fair "
Pac's last 3 fights was above 140. There should be no problem if pac -jmm @147 and let JMM weight what ever he wants. not draining anybody. still not fair enough?

if pac fights marquez at 147, there's no difference whether its at 140 or 147.

On fight night pac will be 147-48,

whether the fight is at 135,140, or 147. NO DIFFERENCE. Marquez will be facing a pac that is 147lbs on fight night.

I don't buy that shyt, Pac couldn't justify demanding for the fight to take place at 147. JMM isn't WW champion or ever been a WW champion, hasn't won a fight AT WW or even looked good AT WW the one time that he fought there. There is no justification for fighting JMM AT 147.

Pac fighting JMM AT 140 is acceptable. Pac doesn't want to take the risk at 140. He wants to KNOW that he will beat JMM, just as he knows he will beat Mosley NOW, unlike when he WAS #1 WW and "too good".

Pac vs JMM AT 140 is a great match up
Pac ve Berto AT 147 is a great match up

There is no justification for "picking" Mosley NOW

Like I've been saying, I hope they choose wisely! I hope it's Berto, and if it's JMM I really hope Pac agreed for it to take place AT 140. At the end of the day Pac beats Mosley at 147, Berto at 147, JMM at 140-147.

I just want the best match up, that's all I ask. Weather that be Mayweather AT 147, Martinez AT 154, Berto at 147, or JMM AT 140. I just want it to be the best match up. Not the picking and choosing certain fighters AT certain weight classes AT certain weights like Pac has been doing.

                      Rubbish.

How could you possibly confuse a divisional limit, with the weigh-in just prior to the fight, and then claim to know anything at all about boxing ?

Jeez kid, Marquez is a career-featherweight who is already stretched at lightweight, and would be largely ineffective above 135. He simply cannot carry any more than that.

The difference between 140 and 147 would allow Manny to carry an extra 4-5lbs muscle, which is at least 6-7lbs more than the 37yo midget could carry going into the fight.

The weigh-in just prior to the fight is irrelevant to the amount of usable muscle-mass and conditioning that you will take into the fight, and EVERYBODY who knows anything about boxing is aware of that.

Why'dya think Manny " catch-weight " Pacquiao pulls that rubbish?

Did you just learn one thing? or two things?
