Mosley and Berto won't be at catchweight, why would it be?

    2009 - Hatton - 140
    2009 - Cotto - 145
    2010 - Clottey - 147
    2010 - Margarito - 150

        Huh ?

Manny has ALWAYS had the final say on who he will fight.

You think he works for Arum ?

          I think it's Mosley.

Why would Shane speak so openly about it being likely done and go all to the effort of leaving GBP to get talks going to lead him to say it's pretty much done?

I doubt it's Berto because the PPV projections for Pac-Berto are most likely the lowest of the three fights. So economically it would it's the bad choice and since Berto is probably considered the toughest opponent of the three, physically it would be a bad choice. Pacquiao would possibly have 2 grueling fights in a row (Margarito & Berto) right before a possible Mayweather MEGA FIGHT. No way Freddie Roach would advise that!

That was all before Arum actually sat down with Manny and talked about the offers.

Still, I see Arum convincing Pacquiao to fight Mosley.

Yup. Arum had all the financials done for Mosley and was ready to roll with that. The fact that he has to go back and rework the best deal for Manny's choice means it's most likely not Berto

If it is Marquez, and Pacquiao demands 147, then I'm flaming that b1tch every day until he retires. Manny is a natural JWW and can easily make 140, according to both Ariza and Roach.

They just want to disadvantage the 37yo midget as much as possible because Manny can't compete with the skills of Marquez. Manny will carry an extra 6-7lbs muscle over JMM at that weight, and they know it.

A lightweight vs junior welter is not good enough for Manny, it would have to be a lightweight vs welter before it was " fair "

                      well according to the article,

arum has to GO BACK & MAKE THE BEST POSSIBLE DEAL WITH THAT PROMOTER......

if that's the case it aint mosley because mosley is a free agent & has agreed to the terms of pac & arum before arum went to see pac. So it has to be either berto or marquez.
