But SHOWTIME was nice enough to make it a FREE show.
REMEMBER, we were gonna have to PAY for the fight Tonight...

Yeah. That was nice of them. I don't think anyone would pay for another Hopkins fight. That fight with Roy Jones was PPV wasn't it? -

Don't act like it's a charity giveaway. It's a business decision. I pay my Showtime bill every month.
If they don't schedule any fights for January (I see nothing at the moment) I will be calling Directv tomorrow and cancelling it.Comment

Agreed.
Just because *******s in charge got people used to seeing unworthy shows on PPV doesn't mean it's such an event when a borderline one doesn't get put on PPV. It's what's been killing boxing to a certain degree.
No Hopkins fight at this point...or the last few years should be PPV.Comment

Agree with Kevin Malone. It would of been ****** to charge for this fight, no one would of bought it. I don't owe Showtime any thanks or praise for televising it, I pay a monthly fee to see boxing. If they want to be greedy and put fights on PPV, I'll gladly take my business elsewhere.Comment
