Oh come on! Yes, Lebedev was very good and clearly won several rounds (after 4th). But did he dominate Huck? No! Lebedev threw lots of dangerous punches - so what? Huck escaped many of them. And Lebedev ended up with several cuts from Huck's punches, not vice versa.
It was a very close win for Huck, or maybe a draw. Lebedev did, in my opinion, enough for a good fight, but clearly not enough to grab the title. Close decision is an acceptable result. A draw would also be OK, but no win for Lebedev.
BTW1: it was an american judge who gave victory to Lebedev. American judges have the reputation here in Germany of scoring the movement, the action in the ring. Lebedev made a lot of action and moved well... But not the moves - the result is the only thing that counts.
BTW2: Huck said after the fight that his rib was broken in round 4. That's actually the most impressive and dangerous thing Lebedev did in ring tonight.

Weird how the american judge had it 116-112 for Dennis, which is the same scorecard the entire forum had
American judges actually know how to score a fight. European judges fill out their cards beforehand, put their feet up, and root for the home fighter.
There are some bad American judges, but pretty much every single European official is a complete piece of corrupt garbage.

I had it 116-112 for Lebedev, Huck is overreated, he was just surviving the last rounds. Lebedev was doing great by that nice bodyshots but, if he trews littel bit more combos, he could easyl won by Ko. Knowing the BS decisions in Germany he should try a littel bit harder and could have won the belt.

Close? There was nothing close about it.Huck did not start strong, come on towards the middle,or even finish with a great rally in the fight. He spent the entire fight being pushed back and being worked over by Lebedev.
It annoys me when journalists like this p^ssyfoot around the issue like this. This was a diabolical decision - as bad as you'll ever see in this sport. When you have won many dominate a championship fight, and then have him sit by while a two corrupt judges hand the decision that he earned to the lesser man,who didn't fight like a champion, who coasted the last round just to ensure that he was not stopped, then it's not a good look for this sport.
I said Lebedev would dominate Huck - and I was completely right. No corrupt judging will ever change the fact that Marco Huck was finally exposed for what he reall is: a crude, talentless, gutless fighter, devoid of any real skill or talent.
Unfortunately,no amount of investigations will ever reverse this decision,or even suspend these corrupt judges.Such corruption will always exist within boxing, and most will have forgot or stopped caring about what happened tonight within a months time.

The problem with the judges is that they don't call enough even rounds, giving them instead to whoever they want to win.
Huck's squared-up style with the Arthur Abraham high guard gave Lebedev a nice target to the body, at least until Cotton started calling low blows which didn't look low but right on the belt.
