From ESPN convo board, can anyone in the Philippines confirm? Apparently they've been discussing on Filipino radio shows that the reason for the delay in the opponent selection is that Manny prefers Berto over Mosley but Bob doesn't want that fight. This goes against everything I've heard thus far, I thought Mosley was a shoe in.

i dont kno....could be a cop out. if manny wants berto and he cant get him, he needs to leave top rank. for all the **** he's done for arum, hes single handedly keeping the top rank brand up. he should be able to get whatever fight he wants.Comment

Mosley could be a better idea. Right now Berto hasn't proved that he's anything better than a B class WW. If Pacquiao fights Mosley and Berto fights someone else, Berto could get the opportunity to show that he's worthy. Right now I don't think he's proved that he could even last 6 rounds with Pacquiao, or even Cotto, Mosley or Margo for that matter...
