Floyd has not fought any great fighters at welter, and he just walks through one of the greatest, most dominant champions in that division? Trinidad is a 5'11 natural welterweight and has hunted down some of the best boxers of his time ( Carr, Vargas, Camacho, Joppy, Reid and even Whitaker was still pretty credible at that point and Oscar ran late).

He didn't run through Castillio at lightweight, hes not running through Trinidad at his best weight.

Never would've happened anyway. Floyd would'nt let him wrap his hands the way he would've wanted to. Plus the risk of being KO'd might have been too high for Floyd.

Floyd would outbox Tito and NEVER hurt him in the process....Floyd wins like 9 or 10 of the 12 rounds imo....Floyd wins MOST of the fantsy match ups anyway....Floyd is the fantasy match king...dude need to fight more....that mofo is too talented to be sitting on the sideline

Tito was with Don King not Arum and Floyd is only afraid of fighters under the Top Rank banner~, plus there would have been money in that fight.

Tito is bigger and has power but those advantage have to be applied for them to really have an effect. If slot machine De La Hoya can find a way to utterly neutralize Tito a better boxer in Mayweather should be able to do something similar.

Tito was best against guys who went in to kill him and it always played to his advantage that he would get knocked down then the other guy would come in for the kill. Floyd would not play that game with Tito, infact it would be reverse since Tito would be forced to open up and against an elusive target that is usually a mistake.

In the end it comes down to can Tito take out Mayweather with one big shot, it is possible but having to rely on such a plan is not the best route to win fights especially if the guy across the ring is well prepared and in a good mental place.

It would be interesting though, especially an early hungry version of Tito I would give that Tito a better shot.

Lets not forget though that was Oscar in his prime and at his peak weight class, and Oscar past his prime held Floyd to a split decision and was out jabbing him. I also think he ran from Trinidad for a reason. He knew that he got stronger as the fight went on and wanted no part of it.

lmao @ Floyd fans "Will look like Gatti, will look like Corrales"

Because Gatti and Corrales were big Welterweights and one of the greatest of all time at that. Because Gatti and Corrales hit as hard as Tito, because they have the left hook of Tito.

GTFO with that ****, we saw Mayweather rocked against an old Mosley, the only puncher he's faced in years. Tito by KO.

"If Oscar could run like me he would have never lost to Trinidad"

                  Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Oscar wishes he was Floyd Mayweather Jr. that is the style he wanted to have. His faux gauzi Mayweather style was enough to deal with Trinidad, so what would the real McCoy do.

If you don't come to battle it out with Felix, Felix will have problems and there ain't no way Floyd goes in there to battle it out with him. sorry~

This also wasn't about Oscar and Floyd it was about Tito and Floyd, Oscar was trained by Mayweather for that fight with Tito so what he was trying to do goes with what Floyd Jr. would most likely try to do. tito on the other hand would not try and fight like Oscar did against Floyd and is pretty much incapable of doing that and would probably get beat worse if he tried that since that isn't him.

I'm sure most are going to pick Mayweather to outbox him and win a comfortable UD, but this is one of those fantasy fights that I really like. I think Tito would give Floyd hell, make him fight and maybe even stop him late in the fight.

So....A prime Felix "Tito" Trinidad vs "Pretty Boy" Floyd Maywether at 147.....Who wins this fantasy fight and why?
