Why did Wlad take the Peter fight???

wlad needs this fight to get back to the top and built his confidence. peter needs this fight as a stepping stone to the top as well.

I would have to agree with this guy , besides how else is Wlad going to make people believe in him again?I do think this will be the last time we are talking about Wlad being a contender again though IMO.

as risky as it sounds, it's better for Wlad to face Peter now, before the kid's got some skills to go with that big punch. If Peter gets better, there's no ****ing way Wlad beats him, now he has a chance, though it's a slim one. Peter only needs to land one big punch to get Wladdy in trouble. My guess is Peter will make his rep off this fight, he wants to be the guy that destroyed Wladdy

A fight between Byrd and Williamson hasnt even been signed yet while Brewster is fighting on the 28 th of next month?

This fight is an IBF title elimenator. The winner of this fight get's a mandatory title fight against Byrd. It is Wlad's last desperate attempt to get a world title shot.

Wlad was supposed to fight Byrd for the belt.. that is until King F'ed him and the ratings were changed. Before the court announced their decision, Williamson offered a box-off.. Why would Wlad take the fight with Williamson and fall right into another one of King's trap when he was hoping that the court will reverse the ranking.

Otherwise, why would Wlad be fighting Williamson again? What's the point?
