Why did Wlad take the Peter fight???

Is he getting paid a lot of money for this fight or what?? Cause it seems to me that this fight is a bigger loss and no gain if he wins.

If He wins it was cause Peter was too young and inexperienced. Doesnt really help his cause.

If he loses Petter is a superstar and Wlad is proably done.

So whats the real reason he has taken this fight. He could easly have fought some other less talented Contenders and gotten a title fight.

It's do or die for Wlad - he has to be able to fight anybody out there if he wants to become a champ one day. Maybe he is back to his old self, who knows?

Wlad thinks that Peter is still too inexperienced and crude and he believes his own losses were just flukes. Peter's power will tell him one way or another whether this is true.

He's still only 29 people forget that.

This fight will showcase the only 2 under 30 year old heavies that are in the top 20

i think another reason Wlad took this fight now is to put Sam Peter down before he fully develops and to plant that seed of doubt in him should wlad win.

Id say that is pretty right on.

a lot of fighters dont come back from losses because they realize that they can go no farther than they already have come.

clearly wlad feels like his best days are still ahead of him, this fight will position him for title shots with two sanctioning bodies.
