Why did Wlad take the Peter fight???

Rogers, who should Wlad fight to get yor respect? As far as the courts go he was just trying to defend himself from a good Don King screwing. Whats not to like about that. If he didn't lose his ranking he most likely be champion in his first fight.He beat Byrd easily the first time and no dought that is why Byrd has done everything in his power to avoid it again but... Im not ready to slam Byrd quite yet. I just hope it was King not wanting to lose control of the belt that made Byrd run like a little girl. I sure have never seen anything in the Byrd has fought or handled himself in the past to make me think he is anything but full of balls and hard as nails. After getting up from the Ibeabuchi massacre was al I needed to see but he has always been willing to fight bigger stronger opponents. Wlad is a terrible match-up for him,probably the worst out there (much bigger and just as fast)but I still dont believe he is afraid.
And lastly I hope you dont think Vitali was avoiding The Rock for any reason other than legit injuries.. That fight should never have even been made. Its a one sided slaughter. Its time for new blood in the heavies not more DK retreads. Byrd-Toney with Wlad back in with the new impoved Brewster and Vitali well I want to see him fight Toney too.

Undoubtedly. I still think Emmanuel will tell Wlad to make Peter respect him early. By that I mean, trade with him for a little bit believe it or not. If he gets caught up trying to ONLY establish the jab, he is a sitting duck. Like when Emmanuel was yelling at Lewis during the Tyson fight......"You better stop ****ing around before you get caught with some ****"Meaning no dilly dallying around, and needs to get in there and take care of business. I think this fight will be impressive to most people who are on the Peter bandwagon, and not so impressive to Wlad fans because he is not on his level.

Why trade with a power puncher that early in the game?
Although Wlad's chin is still in question, wlad has proven that lately he had gassed out... (Brewster, Williamson)
They (Wlad's camp) would try to conserve Wlad's energy until 4th-5th round and than try to finish Peter in the later rounds (8th)
That would ensure Wlad would still has some gas left in the tank to go for 12 if necessary and also show:
1) He was able to hang on for so long with a power puncher - there goes the answer to his chin (kinda.. that is if Peter lands a few)
2) Progress in his timing and stamina

So IMO the strategy would be.. Start slow, but take control of the fight (yet avoid exchanges)... Jab, Jab.. back out.. move.. etc
Then in mid rounds ATTACK!

Of course Peter's strategy would be to rush Wlad , Brewster vs. Golota style!

Lets see how all of this will work out

No matter who the Klitschkos fight, it's never good enough!
When Wlad was supposed to fight Byrd, people were calling him pu$$y, that he is fighting someone w/o a punch and how they would love for him to fight someone like Peter, so that Peter can get rid of him once and for all.

Now he is fighting Peter and all of a sudden Peter (while Wlad is the underdog) is too green and you say Wlad should fight Byrd?

1) King will not put him in front of Byrd, Brewster, Ruiz until Wlad is a clear mandatory, or has a belt! Same goes for Toney... Toney has no business with Wlad.. if Toney is to fight a Klitschko, he will try to go for Vitali!

I just told you why. If you notice......Wlad went all out on Brewster, and almost knocked him out despite running out of gas. He was hesitant to trade with Sanders.....and it cost him. It was like I said in that he was a sitting duck on the outside, feet in cement, almost like he was just waiting to get hit as opposed to doing the hitting. Emmanuel will not allow that. It's do or die, and Peter better get ready for the big man to throw some serious shots.

Steward's words: "Peter won't want anymore after the 2nd round". That won't be due to the jab, trust me.
