Another whiney ***go7, clutching at straws.

There is little between Marg/Mart and you know it, I think Marg may actually be taller and can easily fight at 154, and almost certainly will..... and Martinez offered to make 154, JMW..... you know, the division where Manny apparently holds a title

    The difference between Marg/Mart is.....

    * Margarito is a slow, plodding, shop-worn, mediocre, BUM, with no KO power, who could not have beaten any of the top welterweights
    * Sergio is a skilled fighter who is on top of his game

    From the following list.....

    * Manny will not fight a skilled boxer.....
    * Manny will not fight a skilled counter-puncher.....
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is in their prime.....
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game.....
    * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage.....
    * And at JMW, Manny will not fight anybody at all.....

NOTICE: Margarito is none of those things, yet Sergio is all of them

    What a fkn coincidence.

    You ******s crack me up

BTW, Marg fought at a catch-weight of 150, not 147

What should have happened is that Berto would have fought Mosley then the winner take on Manny. That would have been fair and that would have made most people accept the fight.

Berto needed to step up before taking on Manny or else Manny haters would still say, who did Berto fight?

I believe Marquez would be Manny's easiest fight (Berto, Mosley, Marquez) but from what I hear, I am thinking that Manny should take on the easier Marquez so he shuts up those haters!

but unfortunately money talks and Arum wants Mosley if Marquez doesn't come down from his over-pricing offer.

Come on man, Margarito is not a bum. He might not be qualified to beat one of the greatest fighters ever in Manny Pacquiao, but he's certainly not a bum. There's a lot of points you make that I can understand why you see it that way, but you must also look at things for how they are. Manny fights for money just like every other fighter out there. There was a lot of big names in the WW division when he first came in that would generate big money fights. Sure, a lot of these guys had losses and this and that, but the money was there to be made, can't blame him for fighting them. He's made tens of millions of dollars for doing it, I'm sure you wouldn't pass up the opportunity either. He did try to make the fight with Floyd two times. If Floyd had acted like a normal boxer, that fight would have been made. You need to take that into consideration. Floyd is at the top of his game and the best fighter Manny could ever fight, yet he was trying to make that fight. Its not Manny's fault the most money is with guys that are getting old. He said he would stick around 3 more years, in that time he will get at a lot of the fighters people are screaming about. He doesn't owe it to anyone to move up or down in weight. If WW is where he wants to stay, then so be it. We can't do anything about that but cry but that doesn't solve anything.

                  good post......

Hey man. Don't reason with these haters out here. You can't reason with someone like him. He wants to see things the way he wants to see things. Nothing we say will be taken into consideration. MANNY will fight ANYONE. It doesn't matter who they are. He is a REAL fighter who simply likes to fight. It is ARUM who is in it for the MONEY. Not MANNY. FLOYD fights for money. He doesn't care about the sport or it's fans. He's not trying to make history or challenge himself against the best. And if they ever fight, this may be the difference. If you go into the ring with a fighter like MANNY and you haven't been active or only fight for money, he will punch you out of the ring. Yes FLOYD and everyone else he fights, is bigger, but MANNY is special and only comes once a life-time. Personally, the most competitve fight for him is BERTO. He will be almost as FAST and has POWER and footwork and enough STAMINA to win. And he's YOUNG. I think it's a GREAT UNIFICATION bout. What do you think?

I hear you, man. I'd love to see that fight too and feel it will be made either after Mosley or one fight in between there. It should be very interesting.

                      I see your point.

But I disagree with you about Margarito. That fight was for a JMW title, and compared to the current top JMW's, Margarito is a bum alright.

He was never an elite fighter, and there is a question mark over his career.

I ignored your comments about Mayweather, I don't care about the vacationer, and they weren't relevant to my post

The point is, demanding 147 for Marquez is a b1tch-move by Manny.

Posters that cannot comprehend the difference between a divisional limit and the weigh-in just prior to the fight try to dismiss that by saying..... "but they weight the same on fight-night".....

Well, in that case, there is little difference between Sergio and Margo on fight night..... so front up Manny, Sergio is waiting

                      Get my point?

It's the dishonest two-faced approach, and the convenient dropping of standards that I can't tolerate.
