Why don't you reread this thread and realize that no one agrees with you on the statement that Margarito is bigger than Martinez. FFS. I'm moving on.

Made up bs for Martinez, ducked him

      Ducked Berto

Ducked Mosley back then and is now fighting him

IMO Berto is the only acceptable option there. Mosley has been shot for a while and Marquez isn't happening at 135, which makes the fight irrelevant.

Last time I checked, Pacquiao was the WBC champ at 154lbs. Why should Martinez have to make 150 in the first place? But Pacquiao is an 8 division champ, right?

The difference is Margarito can make 150 and look extremely healthy, while Martinez would have to kill himself to make it, and only morons look at fight night weights as proof of how big someone is.

They're both 5'11. They both come to the ring at or around 165lbs. One can box, one can't. You're confusing size with skill.

Again, you're acting like fight night weights tell the whole story, which is ludicrous. Marquez comes in at 145-148. Pacquiao comes in at 145-148. One can fight at welterweight, one can't.

Martinez comes in at 165, Margarito comes in at 165. The difference is one if a damn middleweight and the other is a career welterweight.

Sorry, I'm talking logic again, I'll leave.

I'm certain that they already have their opponent. They won't fight until May, why select him before the year is out? Why not wait to see what Floyd's situation will be if that's the fight they want, and the people want?
