NEW YORK – Super Six World Boxing Classic semifinalists Glen Johnson and Carl Froch have been in world title fights against Two-Time World Champion Bernard Hopkins and WBC Light Heavyweight World Champion Jean Pascal, respectively, and like Arthur Abraham, they are picking Pascal to beat the 45-year-old Hopkins on SHOWTIME (10 p.m. ET/PT) on Saturday, Dec. 18, from the Pepsi Coliseum in Québec City, Canada.

Did I just read Sergio Mora saying "Pascal like Berto hasn't fought a quality opponent"? I thought Froch and Dawson were more than quality opponents.

Froch & Dawson immediately popped up in my mind when Mora said that. But peeling back the onion a bit, I think this was more aimed at Berto himself in which Mora is trying to get Berto up 7 lbs and face him at 54.

Abraham probably has the best prediction. I doubt any of the boxers picking Hopkins actually think he's gonna win, they just don't want to insult the guy (or risk there boxing future by speaking their minds)

It's really not out of the ordinary to think Hopkins will win. You act like Hopkins has 5 losses, 5 KO's, in his last 5 fights. He has 5 losses, no KO losses throughout his career and only 1 really stands out as a convincing loss and we all know what loss was that one and how long ago it was.

None of us are picking the 45 year old Hopkins against a young, fast, powerful fighter. The last time he faced such a fighter was against a young Roy Jones. It's extremely out of the ordinary to do be picking Hopkins to win this, but no GoldenBoy fighter will say it. I wouldn't be surprised if they all bet their last paychecks on Pascal.

                  People forgetting words?..

I'm going with Hopkins. But I'm guessing it will be a tough fight for both.

People who claim to be predicting Hopkins are just trying to look like geniuses if they are right. How many people are actually betting money on Hopkins? I know we all want to see him make history, but this fight's in Montreal and Pascal is not Pavlik (and Hopkins isn't the same Hopkins who beat Pavlik). This will not be a close fight
