I don't know why I buy Ring Magazine anymore

I've been buying Ring Magazine for about since about 2008. I used to look forward to it coming out every month even though it costs the equivalent of about $8 dollars here in England, but now I'm getting a bit fed up with it. The articles are still great but the rankings and covers are pi$$ing me off. Manny seems to be on the cover every other month and I've just bought January's issue today and in the Ring 100, David Haye is ranked number 56! Behind the likes of Antonio Margarito, who's a proven cheat. Joshua Clottey who's best win is over a bloated Zab Judah on a cut. Sergio Mora, Tomasz Adamek who is a good fighter but didn't achieve any more than Haye did at CW and has beaten no-one at HW.

Anyone else getting tired of The Ring?

I kinda agree with you because they write some foolish stuff sometimes and being in this forum makes it redundant. But about Haye, I have articles taunting him as a superstar, and I understand what you say, Margarito, Clottey and Adamek sucks, but Haye run at HW sucks too, he hasn't backed up all the talk and seems to be looking for a way out.

It has, before the Harrison fight was announced I started to think Haye was ducking the Klits and I stated as much, even though I'm a fan. But I'm starting to think (perhaps naively) that he's trying to make the Klits sooo mad that they try harder to make a deal. Only the Haye camp and The Klit camp know the real truth.

Anyway my post wasn't purely about Haye. The more annoying thing is the Manny d!ck riding and the crap rankings. Manny's a great fighter but he's been very well matched.

I stopped buying Ring, it's expensive here in the states too.

There just isn't the quality writers it once had, and it doesn't cover the lesser known fighters and up and comers the way it once did.

And the writers who were once considered good have all become GBP fan boys.

Even with that said, there really isn't many boxing magazines anymore. So at least there trying?

Really? Single weight world champion (IBF and WBO), best win is over Cotto was schooled by Williams, Shane and Pac. But surely his accomplishments are tainted as he was possibly wearing plaster the entire time?
