Haye is the WEAKEST champion EVER in the HW divison.
I'd rather watch him than Ruiz, but definitely the most disappointing. Sounds like these fights are not happening now. It never did, but you can at least hope. What a joke he is for making those statements.

He's such a fraud, I just remember him challenging Wlad at that charity event, he looked like he was for real, he sucks. I'm glad he's retiring.

What this article essentially tells me is that he has no real plans to fight either Klitschko. I truly believe the ongoing negotiations between the two teams is simply how team Haye keeps the spotlight on Haye's name. He'll pull out at some point, claim it's not a fair deal and then go and fight Chagaev and finally Jones Jr. in his final fight.

Haye's an utter failure from a fans standpoint. First he spends two years calling out and confronting the Klitschko's publicly and in some cases in person. Then he began claiming they only offered him "slave" contracts and now he's saying he's completely fine not fighting them. Haye should receive no media coverage until he fights a Klitschko. What a waste of time this guy is.

This is how it starts, "Well, if worse comes to worse I can fight Chagaev", that's bascially Haye saying "I'm fighting Chagaev".

If Haye is serious about retiring he'll go out against Chagaev and then an all British showdown against Chisora. He's a pússy who doesn't want none of the Klitschko's, not for ordinary demands anyway. Wlad has more belts and has proven himself 10 fold in the division. Haye doesn't deserve 50/50 he should be happy with 40/60.
My sentiments exactly, this is how the whole harrison shambles started i remember after ruiz there was mention but it was taken with a pinch of salt, im sure he will take and maybe chag maybe chis or ****son fury and make them out to be some dangerous worthy challengers!blah blah

I really used to like haye and what he represented but retirement!!!who is he Jay Z, shows the power of the media!sports personality of the year??urgh what??Carl froch and khan arent saints but at least as british fighters go, they put themselves out there.

He played good tactics against valuev ill give him that but side stepped klitch in the summer because he knew he werent ready, but i wouldnt say any other heavyweight bouts have been worth bragging about.

What about adameck?Im sorry but your not going to be remembered with this career. why cant he just be like manny sit back and let the promotors promote and the fighters box!!

Not sure if he's scared but whether its purse disagreements or fear neither will seal you any awards in boxing history, im sorry.

I think everyone in the world save 2 or 3 posters here know it will be without a Klitschko.

I have a better idea, retire right now! You won't be missed and it would save the heavyweight division from the next farce "Haye vs Chagaev - we promise it will be worse than Haye vs Harrison"

I hope he's telling the truth for once, he's bad for boxing holding the WBA belt hostage, Haye retiring will be a great thing
