Sosnowski is in fact much better fighter than people think.. real warrior who's always giving his best in the ring. I think he would be much more a challenge for Solis than old and slow Austin. On the other hand, Austin is a big guy with long reach so may be better practice for Solis before facing Vitali.

Calm down. No ones overrating him. I never said once that Solis is going to beat Vitali, just that it will be a good competitive HW fight.

Also, the Julius Long fight was 10 fights ago (good job on the Boxrec research!) and only Solis' sixth fight.

Briggs, Sosnowski (who??), Kevin Johnson (real threat there)... Please!

The only real threats that Vitali has fought in recent times were Arreola who was dropped before by much weaker competition and an unmotivated Sam Peter. Cruiserweight king Gomez was never even given a chance to Hurt Vitali. His best chance was that he might outbox/hustle him.

If you ask me Solis is a monster by comparison and KOs that whole list.

Arreola, Gomez, Briggs, and even Sosnowski are far better competition than what Solis has faced.

As far as the photos go, if you don't want to believe what you see, there's not much I can do about it.

Solis's claims of being in shape are about as credible as Arreola's.

Adamek vs Vitali would be HUGE at Madison Square Garden. Sellout huge.

All of the Russians and Ukrainians from Brooklyn, and all of the Poles from New Jersey, would fill the place up. It would be a great event for the HW division.

I'm not that confident that this fight will be on the up and up, being a Don King production. For all I know, Austin is being paid off to let Solis get a title shot.
