Sosnowski is in fact much better fighter than people think.. real warrior who's always giving his best in the ring. I think he would be much more a challenge for Solis than old and slow Austin. On the other hand, Austin is a big guy with long reach so may be better practice for Solis before facing Vitali.

Solis has only fought bums. He would struggle against all of Vitali's comeback opponents and would lose at least once.Calm down. No ones overrating him. I never said once that Solis is going to beat Vitali, just that it will be a good competitive HW fight.
Unlike the non-threats that Vitali has been facing recently. Who among Vitali's recent opponents would beat Solis?? Who??
And why do people want to see Vitali vs Adamek?? I like Adamek, but come on, he's no threat AT ALL. Life and death with a Cris Arreola (post Vitali)? please.
Also, the Julius Long fight was 10 fights ago (good job on the Boxrec research!) and only Solis' sixth fight.
I watched the Solis/Long fight on youtube, Solis looked like shit and couldn't even stop the glass chinned bum.
Solis has done nothing to prove he can be competitive against Vitali.
Vitali will destroy the Cuban Fat Albert.Last edited by Steelhammer2011; 12-16-2010, 02:49 AM.Comment

Your opinion might change if you were to watch Solis' recent fights, instead of his sixth.Solis has only fought bums. He would struggle against all of Vitali's comeback opponents and would lose at least once.

Arreola, Gomez, Briggs, and even Sosnowski are far better competition than what Solis has faced.Your argument would hold up if Vitali was fighting anyone who would have given him tough rounds.
Briggs, Sosnowski (who??), Kevin Johnson (real threat there)... Please!
The only real threats that Vitali has fought in recent times were Arreola who was dropped before by much weaker competition and an unmotivated Sam Peter. Cruiserweight king Gomez was never even given a chance to Hurt Vitali. His best chance was that he might outbox/hustle him.
If you ask me Solis is a monster by comparison and KOs that whole list.
also,
You can't tell jack **** from those photos.
As far as the photos go, if you don't want to believe what you see, there's not much I can do about it.
Solis's claims of being in shape are about as credible as Arreola's.

Adamek vs Vitali would be HUGE at Madison Square Garden. Sellout huge.Calm down. No ones overrating him. I never said once that Solis is going to beat Vitali, just that it will be a good competitive HW fight.

All of the Russians and Ukrainians from Brooklyn, and all of the Poles from New Jersey, would fill the place up. It would be a great event for the HW division.Comment

I'll take Hopkins and Solis, then. How many points do you want to put on Austin and Pascal?I'm not that confident that this fight will be on the up and up, being a Don King production. For all I know, Austin is being paid off to let Solis get a title shot.
I'll do a bet with you on the Solis fight if you also want to do a bet on Pascal - Hopkins (I'll take Pascal).Comment
