i think montiel is underrated as of now. although im leaning on to donaire just a little in terms of speed and on him just a little in terms of power.

WEll said freddy roach. it really is a 50 -50 fight . outside of darchinyan donaire hasnt really fought anyone to give him a real test. looks like both of these guys are getting better with each fight. Its gonna be good

Not too strong but too fast. Jhony Gonzalez is bigger than Donaire and has better KO % vs bigger fighters but he couldn't take out Montiel.

This match up has the potential to become a great fight, I think we'll gonna see some knockdowns in this one I feel Donaire is just to big, too tall and too fast for montiel, but we'll see.

I can't believe how underrated Montiel is on NSB. Do you realize he has never been stopped? Even by powerhouses. I don't see a logical explanation why you guys thing he's going to be KO'd. You guys are underrating his boxing skills thinking that he is just a bomber. Some of you have not taken the time to look at his fights. I see another Donaire vs Concepcion where Montiel finishes strong using his liver shots.

I agree. This is a pickem fight. I like Montiel, and I agree that he is under-rated. People are dreaming if they think Nonito is gonna walk in there and blow him out. This fight could be a real cracker. I'm picking Nonito to come through in a close war, but aint writing Montiel off, no way.
