Did you know that ODLH was the one who REQUESTED this and not Pacquiao? Please read up on your history first...

You speak as if CATCHWEIGHT is unfair. In this case, it was ODLH who actually asked Pac. And catchweight has been there for a long time even before HENRY ARMSTRONG.

It is a mutual and consenting contract inorder to minimize/eliminate any kind of imbalanced and disadvantages when two fighters of different weight classes fights.

You want to see mismatches and pit a 5'6" and 140 against a 5'11" and 154/160...go ahead, what kind of a fight is that?

Nah, not the prime 147 version. Oscar was a too different then. Hit too fast and too hard. Threw brutal body shots that would have folded Pacman. Pac likes to fight too much and against a flat footed, dead Oscar who was too slow and weak at that stage it worked, but against the prime Oscar who could box, jab, throw lots of fast, hard combinations and end the fight with one punch to body or head, it would be a very different story.

Pac either gets knocked out early on in the first two rounds by a left hook or in the middle rounds by a body shot or loses a decision.

OH yes! It's somehow a mismatch you know. Even though that 5'6 140 pound fighter is the JMW champion of the world you know. He can't even fight at 154 against anyone because it's a mismatch, but wait he's still the champion at that weight though. Lol. Oh wait I got something better, a 37 year old 135 pound fighter wants a fight with that 5'6 140 fighter, yet the 5'6 140 fighter wants the fight at 147. Instead of 140. Oh man, what a mismatch that is. I wonder who does that!

Oscar got hit too, Pac is fast, Pac could land...I was just not impressed with a 147 version Oscar. And, really what elite WW did Oscar KO? An old JCC? Honestly I think Pac would do surprisingly well against Oscar.

135-140 Oscar was impressive, 147? For me anyways, not that impressive. IMO, me personally I thought he lost his 4 biggest fights at WW in his prime. Yes I know it can be argued but, I thought he lost them...I think Pac beats him, out works him, out hustles him.

I think Quartey beats Pac though. Whitaker beats Pac, Tito takes his head off, I think Mosley beats him also, Oscar I don't know, and even against Oba Carr Oscar didn't have the easiest of time. However, if Carr was fighting today he would be a title holder and the 3rd best WW right.

I'm sorry I just think Oscar was overrated. Props to him fighting some names but at 147 I wasn't that impressive. I thought 135 though he has the perfect blend of speed, size, and power.

I don't want to disrespect Manny but Oscar would've given him a serious beating. He would've tagged Manny with his lightning jab, and his combinations. He really would've used his reach advantage because Manny wouldn't be able to get in and out as he usually do coz Oscar had an excellent footwork too, he would end up eating a left hook from Oscar.

Again, kindly respond to the question sir. Did you know that it was ODLH who requested and wanted this fight right? He actually wanted to capitalize and cherry-pick on Pacquiao and most specially with the contracts they have that has gone awry.

A big mistake for him. He encountered a monster.

Sorry but ODLH vastly underestimated Pacquiao.

Fabie is correct, Oscar underestimated him. He did cherry pick Pacquiao and it kicked his ass (literally).

ODLH is a damn fool who thought he had 1 more in him. Besides if he made the fight at 154, he would get criticized for this and he knows it.

                    Did he underestimate Pacquiao? Yes.
Was he a damn idiot for requesting 147? Yes.

Doesn't change the fact that Oscar was weight drained. Was it Pacquiao's fault? Of course not.

P4P Oscar is far greater. Oscar never took an easy road, as Manny has done, and don't forget, Manny doesn't have legit wins over Marquez. They have a huge black cloud over them, as really the only people who believe he won are *******s and a couple of crooked judges. Every media outlet and ringside observer scored it for Marquez, albeit a few didn't.

At 140 or 147 Oscar knocks him out. Manny has not fought a live opponent and the best win on his record is Barrera. He will need more than that, as history is not blind to fighting competition at the end of their rope.

Oscar has a past it Whitaker, and people claim JCC was washed but I think he still had a lot of juice left, Oscar just wanted it more.

Don't forget, Marciano doesn't get a lot of credit because when he beat Moore, Louis, Walcott, etc because they were old and at the end of their careers. History will not forget Manny taking the easy path either... The difference between him and Marciano is Marciano fought the who's who and didn't duck top contenders to fight old names, he fought them all, it was just a faded division.
                      oh man, just stop it

oscar picked pacquiao cause it was supposed to be an easy fight, when the boxing world was clamoring for margarito-oscar. oscar robbed marquez of a third match against pacquiao.

and he got his ass beat for it...

so don't go telling the world that manny never took risks and oscar never took an easy road.

                      pacquiao>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>cherry picking ******
