  • A prime Oscar De La Hoya would have beat Manny Pacquiao

Seriously Oscar in his prime at 147 in his 20's man he was a beast. Manny wouldnt be able to deal with all his combonations the best combonation puncher of this generation.

Absolutely, Oscar would have no trouble earning a KO against Manny, it's really not even a contest.

Oscar is a legit ATG and he has one of the greatest resumes in history. He had a couple of bogus decisions in Tito and against Mosley, but the man fought every top contender at the top of their game.

Oscar was masterful, I love watching him box.

Manny just isn't on his level. Manny is hugely overhyped, but Oscar backed it up everytime he went into the ring.

I agree. Not to mention that the "golden boy" would have had every demand go his way because he was a huge cash cow and Pac would have folded on ring size, gloves, weight, but the fight might not have happened if Oscar requested OST.

Come to think of it, that's why he and Arum don't get along. Arum wants garbage matchups, as we have seen in Pac clottey and Pac Marg, and Oscar wants TOP COMPETITIVE MATCHUPS to revive boxing, as we saw in Ortiz/Peterson and Khan vs Maidana.

If Khan was a Top Rank fighter mark my words he would NEVER have been put in with Maidana. He wouldn't even put Manny up against Maidana and Manny is "Number 1 p4p."

That's why they don't see eye to eye as promoters, Oscar wants good shows and Arum just wants easy money.

Oscar is going in the right path with Khan, Khan will blow PPVs away if he keeps winning because Oscar will have him fight the best, as Oscar did in his career, and Manny will continue to do under 1 million vs garbage competition.

And a lot of guys hate Oscar cause he was so good looking and your girls wanted to **** him so you wanted to see him lose then he'd come in and mess up the other dude and walk out looking pretty.

Sugar Ray Leonard had the same haters.

                :gay:

The difference between Oscar and Manny is Manny wins all of his most important matches and Oscar loses his.

Oscar is greater at WW. But he can't sniff Manny's fart in terms of P4P greatness.
