and he could have fought martinez in place of margarito?

    gotcha
Im just waiting for Floyd to fight somebody at 147 other than Mosley. Floyd was at 147 longer but he has beaten one 147 fighter. But PAC cherry picked the fighters that Floyd suppose to fight. yeeep.

note to self future boxers, dont fight anyone coming off a lose, even if it was a loss against an elite, even if it was a highly contested and disputed decision, even if these fighters are in your backyard, kicking your dog and throwing shit at your windows, do not fight them, duck them till they are 39 years of age and beat a mentally ****d elite without his plaster

      fight carlos baldimor instead

Except...he's now taking his third mediocre fight in a row, and got the fourth lined up (Cotto-Margarito winner).
marg is the only fight you can really say was bad imo.

not that marg sucks but the timing of it.

can't blame him for delahoya fight.

hatton was good , hatton was the man at 140.

cotto was good , cotto was top 2 at 147 only behind shane.

clottey was okay , clottey was top 5 at 147.

marg is not a bad opponent but bad at the time (got ktfo his last fight , no good win since) and mosley is also bad (got schooled by floyd and looked mediocre against mora)

          i like rafael's idea.

fight jmm and let berto-mosley fight. then you can fight berto/mosley winner.

I really want a marquez vs pacquaio 3 if we cant get a floyd fight. And we cant get a floyd fight because of the whole mayweathes' legal problems. But i really dont want a shane fight. Shane is shot for **** now. I rather pacquaio fight bum ass Berto or end the hype job of Bradley. I dont want to see Martinez and Williams because it would be a complete mismatch of size difference.
I'm not as interested in Marquez because I think Manny would KO him this time--especially if it's at 140 or above. Marquez is aging quick. Sure he still has a masterful offense but he kept getting tagged by Katsidis...no way he'd last against Manny.

I'd prefer Berto to him because at least he'd be something new. And it would be fun....until a straight left hand leaves Berto twitching on his back. Martinez or Bradley (at 140!) would be my top two choices.

Again...2009, Manny had a great year.

2010 was mediocre...at best. And it appears it'll be even worse next year.

                we'll see about 2011.

even if he fights mosley , if he fights floyd later in the year. still a good year.

I don't know if you missed the memo, but his handlers are talking about the Cotto-Margarito winner next. Either way, following up a mediocre year with Mosley is ****ty enough.

You can discredit PAC fights, if your own fighter come back from vacation and actually fight, So we have something to compare and debate to. Its hard to say PAC cherry picked if his rival and suppose to be better than him, is not around. Im just glad PAc fought everyone, and dont leave any question.
