I came away from this fight thinking Darcman won by 2-3 points easy. I did not feel that Mares won. I felt that boxing wants to see guys like Mares fight because Darcman is getting old. Darcmans head shots were more visibl than Mares body shots which at times landed low. Mares held and hit, and hit on the break. I just didn't come away thinking Mares won...

It could have went either way. I'm a huge fan of Vic but either way a person saw it whether for Vic or Mares it doesn't matter as both guys are elite fighters and the best of there division.

FWIW I had Vic winning 113-112. Those judges who had it 115-112 in favor of abner need to be shot. There were moments when mares was throwing but not landing cleanly and I think those were rounds. They were giving him.

nah, I thought Darchinyan was winning at the mid way point or slightly after that but he faded big time in the later part of the fight and mares out worked him.

Just look at Darchinyan's face after the fight he looked defeated while mares was celebrating.

It was a solid fight though.
