Lets not get carried away with "king" Khan!

Just watched the fight again and
Here is my opinion of the fight:

It was a good performance by khan...but not by any means a great one, he did well to avoid getting dropped or even stopped and did well to stop maidana in the opening round....BUT lets not get carried away...maidana has absolutely NO boxing skills and still was able to compete with khan in terms of pure boxing...and then amir blabbers on about how he "believes" he can beat mayweather! ROFLMAO!!...talk about believing in your own hype, Khan proved his defence has improved bigtime so fairplay to him in that regard and
As always Khans handspeed was exhilleratingly, breathtakingly, fantasticlly awesome which in the end proved to be the main reason of victory for khan (as expected)

and btw I AM A FAN OF AMIR let me just get that in the open but jheeze people need to stop getting carried away IMO...it was maidana he beat not manny pacquiao!

It might not be a great performance tactics wise but athleticism and courage wise it was. Amir looked absolutely amazing at times but also a bit sloppy now and then.

He is getting better everytime and we will even see a better Amir in 2011. I can't wait.

i used to think maidana had no boxing skills. but he does. ive watched the replay 4 times and he has far more skill then i ever gave him credit for. so i no longer subscribe to the notion he has no skills and is just a plodder...

khan vs mayweather or pacman? i'll bet against khan all day long!

I think we all would... Khan simply has about 10% chance against either of them at the moment.

^^yup, co-sign....can`t see khan even beating mayweather in a zillion years really...but he certainly has a much better chance then hatton ever did.

Inexperience. Just like he didn't hold on when he was hurt or kept on letting Maidana uppercut him against the ropes.

and before anyone starts...No, i am not trying to degrade khans so-called acheivement, but tacticlly team khan got things horrbily wrong but survived due to the fact that maidana isn`t really world class..a world class puncher? maybe....but as much of a world class fighter as floyd mayweather is humble!

khan has guts. on the other hand, he absolutely needs to correct those amateurish actions in the ring (like turning his back, etc). give him a year or so and perhaps he will become a full-pledged elite fighter. right now, he is kind a semi to me
