Although Khan won the fight with Maidana he didn't exactly look brilliant in doing so. His defense is horrible and he was basically out on his feet in round 10. Roach said before the fight that Khan wouldn't lose a round and that Amir would knock Maidana out by round 6. Anyone think that Roach will be unhappy with Khan's overall performance?
Do you think Roach is a bit disappointed with Khan

Get over it you d1ckhead. The fight is well and truely over and you want to find new angles to poke into Amir Khan.
Of course Roach would be unhappy with Khan's performance in the second half of the fight but he was not fighting any ordinary opponent. Maidana is a unbelievable pressure puncher and ,unlike Ortiz, Khan withstood all the pressure and power thrown by Maidana.
And why after so many anti-Khan comments, are you now interested in how Roach feels? Have you got nothing else to do? -

What? Defense vastly improved. Khan got hit because he chose to take risks and despite what most critics predicted he chose to trade with Maidana for the first 9 rounds.
ANY 140'er would have problems surviving the punches Khan took in R10.
So he danced and lost the last couple of rounds, wasn't that the smart thing to do?Comment

I don't think Roach is upset at all. He knows what he has in Khan. He has a fighter with an affectious personality, a good base of skills, good speed, and a lot of flaws on the defensive end. For Khan to come thru the fire with a win, is a plus for Roach. He won't meet too many guys like Maidana down the road, so don't expect Khan to look like he did on Saturday in many of his upcoming fights. Plus with Roach's legendary match making ability, this will be a mere blip on his resume that will be forgotten by his fans and pointed to by his distractors as a point of reference for how vulnerably he is.Comment

If I was Roach I would be pi55ed because I would be perfectionist who saw my pupil ditch the fight plan I had designed, and that was working well, to go on a high risk strategy simply to prove he had balls.
But then I'd be pleased that I found out my boy has balls.Comment

I disagree, this is not a blip on Khan's resume. This is the opposite - it's a major plus, maybe even a career defining fight for Khan.
He's just fought 'the monster' at 140, so who else should he be worried about?
I think he will take major confidence from this most likely go on to beat the Bradley/Alexander winner.Comment

The Trainer won't be happy if his fighter losses the fight!
Khan got hit in the 10th round and still survive!
He got no knockdown;
You have to give credit to his Trainer,and Physical conditioning Coach for his performance in his recent fight.Comment
