    Is Victor Ortiz an idiot?

I really don't think this guy has what it takes. Mentally he doesn't seem to know what to do in certain situations. Why in a situation where he's beating his man does he backup and start to box? Why does he step off the gas pedal against a guy with little power?

He didn't deserve to win that fight, so I'm glad it came out a draw.

I still can't believe he didn't knock Peterson out.

    He just choose not to.

    Bizarre.

I was rooting for Peterson to get the decision. He deserved it.

The UK commentary was saying Peterson looked like a super-featherweight and Ortiz was basically a fully fledged welter. Basically, Ortiz had the guy out of there and then just lost interest. Never seen anything like it. Then Peterson was showing some brilliant skillful work, and looking like a better fighter.

He's not a good opponent for Khan - not because he isn't good. But he basically doesn't seem to deserve it.

It's a shame no one is going to give Peterson the respect he deserves. He is every bit in that conversation with Ortiz, Khan, Maidana, and Alexander.

Ortiz still looks scared to get hit. Peterson was countering him so easily, it had Ortiz worried about getting hit, I don't have a problem at all with the draw because knockdowns are hard to come back from in a ten round fight.

He saw Maidana's face all over the place and had flashbacks.

bet he didn't sleep well leading up to the fight.

I think Peterson is good, but Ortiz had him IMO. Then he just seemed to want to win it on the cards instead. Props to Peterson for taking advantage.

He needs to sort out his jab, only 2 landed in 12 rounds?

His power punches are precise but his jab was actually pathetic against Peterson.

he looks like a fighter, sounds like a fighter but at times acts in a very strange way that gives you a quick insight into his soul....and that part always screams "i dont really want to be here"

he will fold when the heat it on. he has all the skills, some of the heart but when it gets tough, the people who think they are game will fold, those who know no other way but to keep fighting as they think they will always win, will at least show well, even if they dont win....ortiz looks good, but underneath, it isnt all there....mark my words!

And after the fight, he is there smiling. Not even Peterson was smiling. It's like "dude, you just **** the bed and probably still should've gotten the decision. How are you not pissed?"

Unbelievable. Vic Darchinyan also didn't get the decision this weekend and was visibly angry and let down. Why does Victor not have the passion to care?

He doesn't have a jab. His jab is just a tap on the other guys gloves, not to score points. That is why he will have trouble winning decisions against the top guys.
