That's just Roach hyping up the courage and heart of his fighter. Khan was hurt but nowhere near the level of Cotto in the Torres fight and Juanma in the Matwga fight.
I've seen many times, boxers in bigger trouble than that get out of rounds, Roach is just wanting add to Khan's legend.

it's a good thing that roach gave khan a chance to learn from his mistakes, and khan responded well...maidana almost did it but khan got a good investments on the earlier rounds.. a rematch will be more exciting 'cos both fighters are willing to give all boxing fans a boxing entertainment..i hope to see more fights like this.

Great fight. It was close, it could have gone either way. Khan was nearly out on his feet in 10th. Maidana was the stronger fighter and the bigger puncher. Khan had great training for that fight and was able to hang on. I dont think they will give Maidana a rematch though he took alot out of Khan. Peterson vs Ortiz was good too. Ortiz had it early but he let up his atack and was letting Peterson outwork him in the later rounds. All the fights were evenly match though and that makes for special fights. Khan vs Peterson or Ortiz would be good i think he can probally beat both of them but you never no. Great performance by Khan though he showed alot of heart took on a tough champion and got the win.

Khans conditioning carried him through the day. He needed this type of test, for himself more than anyone else. He needed to know what he was made of. I think he understands himself more now than at anytime before. He took shots from the hardest hitting 140lb'er on the planet and was still standing at the end with his hands raised.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 12-13-2010, 07:24 PM.

Without " Roach The Great" Khan would've most certainly lost. The edge in having him (Roach) made all the diference.
