who in their right mind would ever think khan won???I dont care how good con looked early on he got his ass kicked in the second half of the fight! maidana landed all the great punches not con in the second half, at least roach is honest, "i thought about stopping da fight" some winner where the trainer is a second or two from stopping the fight, lmao.maidana is the goods not a-mere-con. con is just another hype jpb designed to make his promotors money.give him zero chance to even be competetive with mayweather.to even put hik in mayweather categorey or same sentence is just pure fantasy. one thing is clear freddei roachs fighters get hit far too much, I dont see anynody in his stable being abale to beat gayweather including pacroid.

That 10th round was terrifying. I never want to see Amir hurt like that ever again.
LOL I was actually imagining what you were going through in that round.

That's just Roach hyping up the courage and heart of his fighter. Khan was hurt but nowhere near the level of Cotto in the Torres fight and Juanma in the Matwga fight.

I've seen many times, boxers in bigger trouble than that get out of rounds, Roach is just wanting add to Khan's legend.

what Maidana needs is a good trainer like Beristain or Roach,he already has raw power all he needs a good mentor whos gonna teach him how to deliver...after a few months he will be an ABOMINATION

it's a good thing that roach gave khan a chance to learn from his mistakes, and khan responded well...maidana almost did it but khan got a good investments on the earlier rounds.. a rematch will be more exciting 'cos both fighters are willing to give all boxing fans a boxing entertainment..i hope to see more fights like this.

You don't add to ones legend saying that you thought about stopping the fight, if you're the trainer.

Great fight. It was close, it could have gone either way. Khan was nearly out on his feet in 10th. Maidana was the stronger fighter and the bigger puncher. Khan had great training for that fight and was able to hang on. I dont think they will give Maidana a rematch though he took alot out of Khan. Peterson vs Ortiz was good too. Ortiz had it early but he let up his atack and was letting Peterson outwork him in the later rounds. All the fights were evenly match though and that makes for special fights. Khan vs Peterson or Ortiz would be good i think he can probally beat both of them but you never no. Great performance by Khan though he showed alot of heart took on a tough champion and got the win.

Khans conditioning carried him through the day. He needed this type of test, for himself more than anyone else. He needed to know what he was made of. I think he understands himself more now than at anytime before. He took shots from the hardest hitting 140lb'er on the planet and was still standing at the end with his hands raised.

Without " Roach The Great" Khan would've most certainly lost. The edge in having him (Roach) made all the diference.
