Im not the only person who bet on Williams. Many people gave him a good chance, and nobody, NOBODY expected a knockout like that. If they predicted such, they were full of crap.

And when he lost, I didn't make threads crying about it, I accepted the loss and moved on.

I posted all along that Martinez had Williams locked in and would knock him out.

I don't know why...I just was never convinced of Valero. His record screams knockout, but he didn't look unbeatable in his last fight. He battered DeMarco, but he didn't convince me he could've beaten Khan, Maidana or even Bradley.

I remember people talking about Bradley and Valero and people going nuts after stopping DeMarco. Please...Bradley would've stomped him!

As for maidana, hes a true warrior and a tough guy. His arms weremclearlymtired thus he keptshaking them and he was gassed yes, but most guys gas when they put so much into it and take hard shots.

I recall maidana saying ue hates running but uas to do it, heck i run 8 miles and more and hate it too. When you can run 10 wihout pain it gets good, so i wnder how he runs.

As for khan, he has mistakes that he can fix. Its not hard for him, hands up more, better body movement when in the pocket or just get out. These things can be taught over tike and experience

Gym wars can only be taken into consideration depending on when, where snd who.

For morales i have seen that clip, valero did great.

Obvious the oscar fight vs pac showed he was not the same.

A prime oscar kills valero.

The only thig in that fight that i got was valeros heart, he had a huge cut and kept coming.

In boxing, you have to look at context, and who someone faces. Valero went to japan and lived in a box to make money and wanted pacquaio badly and signed with arum.

Whether or not i know his realmstory or more, i am looking at his record and who he has fought. Joe calzaghe looks like a good puncher looking a his wins on record, but a lot wwre tko and early calls.

Just go re-watch the DeMarco fight. Yes in and of itself it isn't going to be some clear indicator of elite status. But if all you see from that fight out of Valero is heart, then there's nothing more to say to you. The way Valero fought from the beginning rounds contrasted a lot from how he was fighting the middle-latter rounds. It's almost as if the cut woke him up and he adjusted great after that. Whereas he was reaching with his punches early, he was flowing from defense to offense...in fact getting DeMarco to reach out of position a ton better.

I don't know why you keep bringing coke up? Is that supposed to discredit him somehow? So are you saying that boxers should start doing some coke so they can go all crazy in the ring? I've never been high on Williams. But....talentless hype jobs do not get in the ring with a prime Antonio Margarito and last much less eke out a decision.
