Hell he showed again what he is made up of
I saw Mares win by at least 3 points
    he wins this tournement
Agbeko will give him hell though.

Could be a potential FOTY when they meet up.

I agree Mares and Agbecko both fought Perez and Vic
so it going to be one hell of a fight

      But Mares needs Nacho back

        I agree with that.

        You can't replace Nacho.

Nacho woulda used that weird little sting that he has for cuts...he woulda put it on Abner's head and the cut would have sealed itself by round 5

No bull at all. Mares dawned a tough chin, at the same time though, Darchinyan's not getting any younger.

If Agbeko can somehow duplicate his showing from last night, he could pull off a UD. Mares is a savage though. Like you said, he was walking through everything Vic threw at him and in those late rounds, Mares was taking clean shots that would deter any other fighter from coming forward.

Agbeko has to fight the perfect fight. The moment he decides to chill on the ropes and try to trade, the momentum will swing.

I wonder how Agebko vs Donaire would go down.

He seems to have a iron chin.

I wonder if Donaire could crack it.

Same goes for Mares vs Donaire.

              Crazy fights.

Mares needs a better trainer then you can match him up with Donaire

Its a shame because it would seem that Donaire if he beats Montiel will go straight to 122.

                  I'm doing a lot wondering.

But what if Montiel had been in the tourney instead of Perez or Vic?

LOL @ Rican mad cuz Mares beat Juanma Lopez in the amateurs...

FFS's get over it man it was the amateurs. The pro game is different and Lopez is a much bigger fighter now. Just rest easy knowing that Lopez could beat Mares now if they fought at 126.

I swear I don't know why some Puerto Ricans hold grudges like bitches.

No easy fights, but I'd have firmly (not by a lot...just noticeable) favored Donaire to win if he had been included in the tournament. It's difficult to argue with his combination of speed and knockout power in both hands. I guess we'll see by early next year when Montiel and Donaire square off in what could possibly be a FOTY contender.
