He took some brutal shots from Taylor, Lacy even thought he won the fight against Taylor. I scored the fight for Taylor, maybe someone had Lacy winning other than Lacy himself?

Its was a pretty boring uneventful fight the way I remember it.

Well it was boring to some extent but Taylor did land some shots on Lacy that I consider harder than the shots Calzaghe and Roy landed on Lacy. I think Calzaghe and Lacy hurt Lacy with accumulated punches more than with one punch at a time method that Taylor kind of did.

Thats what I said, but Jeff Lacy after the fight said he thought he won the fight. I had Taylor winning the fight and so did most people, but Jeff thought he was robbed if you listen to the interview after the fight.

They were both past it even though neither is that old, look at that pic you posted and how flabby Taylor looks.

don't get twisted by the fabrication that was his career. watch his fights. he always struggled with mediocre opponents. losing to donnell wiggins before scoring a ko, losing to vanderpool before getting an early stoppage, losing to rubin williams before scoring a rabbit punch ko, nearly losing to sheika in a fight that could have gone either way, rabbit punching robin reid to 4 knockdowns. this is impressive? this is a top fighter? i think not.

he probably would have beat dhafir smith 5 years ago but only based on ineffective aggression. that's the only thing he's lost. he never had very good skills and relied just on brute force and hometown officiating to get the job done. hype can help you get a long way but you have to start winning fights on your own eventually and he couldn't.

You said he took some big shots against Taylor even though he won the fight against Taylor..

Not"back" as in he is 24 again. But, "back" as in a rematch with Hopkins could be a somewhat respectable fight.
