Yes Eubank was a late replacement and had to lose 25lbs in under a week, and had to come out of retirement to act as gatekeeper that night. But still...

Calzaghe backed out once with an injury, they were due to fight a month later like they agreed they could in the original contract but Jonhson backed out. It was Johnson who called the fight off.

No, Calzaghe said he was injured (twice) while negotiating with Johnson. All in all, Calzaghe bakced out 3 times. Whether the injuries were legit, I won't question, but don't sit here and lie to us and try to say Glen backed out of it. Glen was pissed that it didn't happen.

Joe is good natural ability but he needs to learn how to punch. Now I see why they call him CalSlappy. He still hits hard even that way though. I think Eubank would decision him in his prime though. In any case, Joe C. will not look nearly as destructive vs Lacy (that is, assuming Calz actually gets in the ring with him).

Yeah Glen is a fighter I don't think he would back down from anybody he is a class act in and out of the ring.
