I think the Mares match up is going to be very interesting.

Not so sure Mares can stalk him like he did Vic as Agbeko will wing that hard right at him to stop him in his tracks if he does.

Agbeko used his jab last night and his left hook, two things he forgets to do in his wars.
He also fought better defensively than I've ever seen him fight. He usually
    relies on his great chin.
He was in shape and very ready last night and it showed.
my boy and I went to see him and Vic. He was boxing like that early in the fight, then he found out Vic was to small for him and he went with what's more natural. If he can keep boxing disciplined like that, I think he takes mares as well.

That left hook was real nice. Especially after ya boys kept saying he had no left.

His footwork, footspeed, and spacing were world class as well last night. That might be a problem for mares. Mares stays in range all fight, or he did last night and agbeko can get in and out on him.

He actually threw it at the right times last night, and with good timing.
I still don't think he really hurts people with it but he gets points from it and it sets up his right well.

His timing was perfect on the inside when he threw it.

His offensive arsenal seemed to expand round by round.

I did the same, but was his performance really better than Marez's Walt??Not saying it to be sarcastic, because I missed it,but after seeing Mares fight the ref,Vic & that bad cut,I am a little skeptical of anyone topping that performance!!

I actually favor King Kong over Donaire.

The real question now is will Nonito put on his pants and actually fight this dude.

I remember for the longest that Nonito was crying that the top guys were ducking him and as soon as he started that b.s. Agbecko began to call him out.

In fact Agbecko has been calling Donaire out for a while, yet Donaire turns a deaf ear to King Kong.

I never got why he didn't take the challenge because King Kong was the IBF champ, one of the top 3 fighters at 118.....and sad part is that Vic was willing to face him, while Donaire acted like he didn't know even know who he was.

This is why I go hard on Donaire, because Agbecko exposed Donaire.

I gaurantee you Nonito wont face him.

Naah King Kong walks over Montiel. Montiel has to hurt you or impose his power over you to beat you because his boxing skills leave a lot to be desired.

Now I've been following Agbecko for a while, and that dude has one of the best, if not the best chin in boxing. It's even better than his fellow countryman Joshua Clottey because I have never seen Agbecko hurt let alone buzzed.

I don't know what it is, but those ghanians have Iron in there chin and foreheads (Clottey and Agbecko).

Agbecko is too slick for Montiel and I actually think he makes easy work of him.

FWIW I been following all of these guys for years, so It's not like I'm blinded by the hype last night. Don't believe me about Montiel (who I have a lot of respect for) go check out the Jhonny Gonzales, Mark Johnson, Alejandro Valdez and Z Gorres fight. Hell even Hosumi was outboxing him but Montiel has his power as an equalizer. Against Agbecko that wont even be a factor and Joseph will eat every punch thrown at him.

And, that is coming off a 1 year layoff.

You would think that he has never been that much of a sharp fighter that the layoff would hurt him. But, it seems like it helped him.
