If he showed any semblance of boxing skill he would have actually been underrated, as most people don't think of him as anything but a puncher. He performed as expected, but Khan stood up to the power and pressure. Maidana remains a tough fighter to deal with in the light welterweight division with his punching power and courage.

hes a 1 dimensional fighter, but he also has a good punch, alot of heart and he will keep comin at you.

Winning boxing fights isn't all on looking pretty, having great speed, ring intelligence, movement, combinations and jab.

Plenty of ppl mix it up and when a fighter becomes elite naturally lacking in those area's, it actually shows how good his style actually works for him in terms of other attributes winning fights for him. It's all the more impressive in some ways.

He was competitive and not far of winning, and that says it all.

He's definitely a worthy top 5 JWW.
