    Marcos Maidana is clearly overrated!

Dhude only gameplan was to aim for chin. Thats it. Couldnt box with Amir and his only hope was to land a big shot and wobble his legs.

He's just like Arthur Abraham, overrated becoz of his hard punch. Thats it.

You're on a roll. He's not overrated. He's a technically limited fighter who has done well with his career to this point.

MM gets a lot of props from me. Got amazing heart - to come from 7 points down to turn the fight around in the middle rounds, and to then bring the heat in the last 3, all after nearly getting KOd in the 1st.

He knew Khan has a dangerous jab, he was getting hit flush and Khan's right was landing at will at times too. But he still kept coming forward and pressuring.

He gives all the guys at 140 some serious problems. Khan won the fight, but I think this thread is not in good taste. Give the man respect for getting up from that murderous body shot. Ortiz or Peterson would have quit from that imo.

Khan and Maidana are warriors and they have all my respect

I agree I just think Khan was too quick for him and the body shot took a lot out of him.

Also he may of underestimated Khans power.

Seeing how Maidana nearly beat Khan by decision but had a ****ty ref, I don't see how that makes him overrated.

              Te ref made the decision?
maidana isn't overrated. He's known to be a power punched. That's what he brought tonite. No ones saying he's goat. He's just a guy that he has..

Khan's got fast hands, but I don't think his power was enough to really hurt Maidana. Although, he couldn't have landed that vicious shot to Maidana's liver any better than that. ****ing laser guided accuracy.

He's not overrated he is what most people thought he was... Not a superior boxer, not a intelligent ring general, no great foot speed, no great hand speed... he's a pressure fighter with one punch knock out power... His game plan was the best game plan for him, he wasn't gonna box with Khan that'd be ******... He fought exactly how he needed to for his given qualities

No it was enough to keep him away for most of the fight till he caught Khan with that wild swing.
