His conditioning is not overrated and neither is his speed and power...he needs someone to teach him a few new tricks and he needs to do it asap before it's too late...
I had Peterson winning 7 rounds to 3 and winning the fight 95-93. I think Harold Lederman and many here gave a bunch of the middle rounds to Ortiz when he did nothing to warrant receiving them. He ran and didn't throw. Peterson at least landed a few shots in those rounds. I thought he did enough to win though I woudn't argue a draw or 95-93 Ortiz.
If Peterson didn't get dropped once but ref called a slip a knockdown so he got knocked down twice I think a draw or win for peterson wouldn't have been out of the question. But I think the judges were turned off by Ortiz running away from a boxer he out weighed by 10 pounds.
He won but didn't look good at it by running from someone that can't punch for crap. RIOS would steamroll Ortiz and trust me he has the motivation to beat him up.
