That's frustrate Madaina. And I can't blame him. You can run but don't make it more often.

LOL at ppl complaining about the touch gloves at the beginning.. fellas, its a fight... deal with it.

however.. this fight, respect to both fighters, regardless if Khan put on the runners, he held his own.

He completely outboxed Maidana for the larger part of the fight, hence why he won
He backtracked and threw when he was hurt, something Ortiz needed to do
Showed heart and grit that nobody believed he had
He was always the better boxer, but deserves respect for the way he fought... he was far more positive than negative.

Why wouldn't Khan put on the runners in the last 3 rounds?

He was hurt. What the **** do you expect him to do? Stand toe-to-toe with Maidana and trade bombs and risk getting KTFO?

You are a complete fucking idiot.

Khan gained more respect in my mind. It was a tremendous display of valour and heart.

Khan showed heart by finishing the fight after that 10th round. If he could have physically held up to those punches he wouldnt have been on his bike like that. He really had no other choice but to run and with the early work he put in did just enough to win the fight.

You didn't watch the fight, mate.

Khan only ran the last 3 rounds.

I gave Maidana the final 3 rounds, but Khan had amassed an immense lead from the greater portion of the fight - now, deduct a point from Maidana for the elbow, plus another one for the KD in round one, and you have Khan winning.

Khan boxed beautifully for 9 rounds, but was hurt badly in the 10th and started running from there.

Terrible thread Amir Khan (the guy with a china chin who ducks punchers apparently) Gets in with the divisions number 1 ****er, drops him in the first and throws a whole lot of punches before gutting it out down the stretch, he took some BIG shots and stayed up right! If he hadnt backed off he'd have been KO'd and idiots on here would blast him for not learning from the Prescott loss! He was the nuts last night - Big Up Amir!

Also Ortiz deserved the nod over LP
