Anyone else lose respect for Khan?

I was impressed with Khan and thought it was an exciting fight. I don't understand why people are focusing on the so called 'running'... It was only in the 10th round when he got hurt badly by a big overhand right that he went on the defensive and he then managed to last two minutes till the end of the round while Maidana unleashed everything on him looking for a knockout. In the 11th and 12th he probably should have been a little less cautious if he wanted to make a real impression on US fans, but I guess for him the win was more important.
I think Khan showed he's a better, faster, smarter boxer and a better sportsperson than Maidana. He also disposed of the myth that he has a weak chin. I don't think many boxers in the 140 division could have withstood the onslaught by Maidana in the 10th.
I'm excited to see where Khan goes next.

On the other hand, Chino moved up a couple places in my favorite fighters list. He is a ****ing monster.
Khan only ran when in trouble. He duked it out at least sometimes in the fight. He had Maidanan on the floor and you dont do that by running.
Why even bother learning footwork then? Are you just supposed to plant your feet on the floor like super glued to the floor then?
