I didn't score this fight, but just from watching I thought Ortiz won. It seemed like Peterson only had 3 or 4 rounds at most where he did anything good.

I was shocked one judge had it for Peterson.

But I'd have to re-watch and score correctly to be sure. Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention.

Maidana got robbed by Joe Cortez. Joe Cortez deducted a point when Maidana didn't do anything wrong, and Cortez the ***** would break them apart when ever Khan clinched. While Roy Jones Jr. was saying that Maidana has a free hand and was punching when Khan was clinching like a little fudge-packer. Roy was saying what everyone else was thinking, Cortez allow the fighters to fight you *****.

B-Hop and Roy Jones was the worst fight of the year.

I had Ortiz winning this fight 95-93, but Ortiz needs to get a new trainer and work on some skills.

don't know if anyone else has noticed, but since maidana gave him that beating, ortiz fights "scared"...;you can't win like that, afraid,i thought he won,but he deserves the draw for fighting like that

I had Victor winning by a point, but i'm ok with a draw.

Kind of an awkward fight with Peterson ducking down all the time like that.

As a longtime Peterson brothers fan, I have to admit I was surprised by the 95-93 verdict as well. When I heard that I thought it would go to Ortiz. The 94-94 scores slightly suprised me, though there were several rounds where Peterson was the busier fighter and at times the aggressor. Ortiz has himself to blame for the judges going the way they did.

I doubted the mettle of Petersen after the drubbing he received from Bradley. He showed me something tonight. I thought Ortiz did enough to win, but Petersen got some quality points back. And Ortiz doesn't look like he can handle the pressure of a guy like Bradley.
