          DeGale should go for a world title next year, against that Stieglitz guy who has the WBO belt maybe. DeGale would probably beat him. 1 or 2 more fights and then go for it.

            Maybe not a world title contender yet but he out worked Smith, he needs to stop flicking punches when he can land real power punches.

              I agree, he looked like a world class prospect, IMO, but still a work in progress. His main weaknesses as I see them are that he often paws with his jab and needs to learn to jab with power; and that he flicks like an amateur a lot, which in the pro game is pointless.

                  Hats off to to Degale beating an experienced domestic fighter of a 29-1 record in only his 9th fight.

                  I don't believe he should fight Groves yet though, could be built up for a bigger and better showdown in a year or so.
