The mind games are good, but the 8 ounce gloves will work in Khan's advantage. What would be impressive is if Khan has always used 9.5 ounce gloves and is still miles faster than opponents like Malignaggi.

Khan is known for his speed, not defense and chin. 9.5 ounce to 8 ounce helps his speed a little more while it wouldn't have helped his defence and chin as much IMO.

why would reebok make 9.5 oz gloves in the first place? bunch of amateurs. No wonder floyd was semi-sponsored by them, till he got dropped.

If kahn wants bigger gloves for protection, he would've been better off with Winning or Grants. The construction of those gloves are probably 100x superior to rebooks 9.5
