lmao...wow, ok emmanuel augustus isnt as slow as miadana, his style is nonsensical and he didnt even really hurt floyd. once agan, floyd still looked good compared to how khan looked. good try tho. mayweather at 24 >>>>> khan at 24, thats not even arguable imo. why not compare mayweather/corrales to kahn/maidana?? thats a much better comparison, no???

I'm not saying Khan is better at 24 than Floyd, just saying that he's not even close to being in his prime and some people (like yourself) are writing him off because he was hurt by a guy with a 93% KO percentage, easily the biggest puncher in his division. Floyd struggled mightily against a D class fighter in Emmanuel Augustus at the same age, so that nullifies your 'ceiling' argument, no?

Khan is still developing and won't hit his peak for a few more years, he's not ready for the top lb-for-lbers yet, but he might become #1 if he continues working hard and doing what he did tonight- taking on the biggest threats out there.

The point is he shouldn't be getting hit all night long with the same punch! The 10th rd was life and death for Khan. Castillo never had Floyd on ***** street at any point of their fight.

mayweather did not struggle. watch the fight and stop talking ****. did he get hit, yes. was he ever in real trouble?? no. my point is khan isnt as good as he thinks he is. he needs to shut his mouth and dedicate himself to his craft. like i said u can tell a lot about his ceiling from that fight. he should have dominated the whole way around, and i stick by that.

Augustus had no power, if he did he would've hurt Floyd with all the clean shots he was landing. You're acting like Khan was in there with some random tomato can. He beat the #4 guy in the division, a guy known for his massive punching power. He got hurt, yes. But most people who get hurt by Marcos (27 out of 29) get knocked the **** out, but Amir hung in there in a very gutsy performance. Does he have things to work on? Of course, again he's only 24, he's only going to get better, as he has since hooking up with Roach. It's silly to say that he's peaked or has a low ceiling because he got rocked by the hardest puncher in his class and still won.

And I'm saying this as someone who's not even that big a fan of Khan. I was impressed with his work in the early rounds and his ability to will himself to the finish line despite being a dead man in the 10th.

Khan is not ready for Mayweather...NOT EVEN CLOSE! Not sure why some people are actually trying to make it a debate, I didn't see NOTHING in the performance against Maidana to make me believe that Khan would have a CHANCE against Mayweather, maybe in another year or two WHO KNOWS but right now...KHAN is not WORTHY nor if he READY for a fight with Mayweather

ur not listening. once again emmanuel augustus should not be compared to maidana, their styles are sooo different. also, once again maidana is a less skilled version of corrales. finally, i give props to khan but once again ill say hes nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. he bought this on himself by talking a bunch of ****. if you are gonna talk, then u better deliver in stunning fashion. and the fight was great! the best of the year imo, but thats because khan did not dominate like he should have. it was a lot closer than i thought it would be. hes good, hes not great and i am skeptical about him being boxing's next superstar.

when ppl came out of that diego corrales fight, they were saying to themselves, "that mayweather guy, hes the real deal, the future of the sport". i didnt feel that way about khan tonite, he got battered by a lesser fighter.
